JULY 2003
Commodore's Comments for JULY

The Regatta has come and gone, but what a success!  The Regatta had 142 boats, beautiful weekend, and the greatest volunteer effort by you, the members of the club.  Again, we continue to make this an event, one that sailors from all over the Southeast want to return to each year.  Everyone should congratulate Bruce Stoehr for getting the event organized. Please keep coming each year, because we could not do it without your help.
At the July meeting, the Nomination committee will present their proposed slate of officers for the next year.  If you wish to make a nomination other than from the proposed group, the only time that it can be done is at this meeting.  The following month will be elections and in September we will have our Installation Banquet.
Also, please note that you should receive your dues bill statement by the end of this month.

PLEASE NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK MEMBERS’S BOATS WHO ARE PARKED IN THE DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE & TRAILER IN THE PARKING LOT.  ALSO, REMEMBER, “BROWN BAGGING” IS NOT ALLOWED DURING BAR HOURS!
