These photos were taken by Mike Lussier of the launching of Gil Hammerlund's boat, "Henry's Loss" at the James Island Yacht Club on December 7th, 2000. True to his word, Gil did get it in the water on "Thursday." That was a long running joke with him and his stock answer whenever anyone asked when he was going to get the boat launched. The name comes from the small town in Illinois where Gil and Dolores Hammerlund grew up. Gil worked on this boat for over 5 years in the back yard of his residence.
