1. Rules: This regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules
of Sailing (RRS); the prescriptions of the U.S. Sailing Association; and
the Sailing Instructions. Class Rules will apply, except where they differ
from the Sailing Instructions.
2. Alterations of the Racing Rules: The Sailing Instructions
will specifically identify alterations to the racing rules.
3. Eligibility: The regatta is open to yachts of all classes.
4. Schedule of Events: Printed elsewhere in this publication
5. Classes: All one-design classes having four or more boats
may participate with the exception of Sea Island One Design, Novices and
Juniors which will need only three boats
6. Advertising: Restricted to Category A (Appendix 1)
7. Fees: $23 Single, $26 Double, $33 Three or more. There
will be a $3 discount for proof of US SAIL membership at registration. (HOBIES;
add $2; district registration), $13 Juniors
8. Sailing Instructions: Available at Registration.
9. Courses: Diagrammed in the Sailing Instructions.
10. Scoring: The Low Point Scoring System, Appendix A of the
racing rules will apply.
11. Alternative Penalties: Rules 31, 44
12. Decisions of the Jury: Decisions of the jury will be final,
in accordance with racing rule 70.4.
13. Prizes: The number of trophies will be determined by the
number of boats entered in each class per Sailing Instructions.
14. JIYC will not be held responsible for any injury occuring
on club grounds or on the water

E N E R A L N O T E S
1 Camping will be permitted on grounds (primitive only) No
hook-ups or electricity available.
2 Hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ, and other refreshments will be
available for purchase Saturday and Sunday.
3 The Club lounge will be open throughout the Regatta.
Our liquor license will not permit brown bagging.
4 Pets are NOT allowed on Club property
