Sailing at JIYC

At James Island Yacht Club, sailing is what brings our community together. For generations, families, friends, and new sailors have come out on Charleston Harbor to learn, explore, and enjoy the water. From kids sailing alongside their parents to someone hopping on a boat for their very first ride, everyone feels at home here. With activities for all ages and that classic afternoon sea breeze, there’s always a perfect reason to get out and enjoy the harbor.
